Florence County · Wisconsin Northwoods

Come see what feels like home.

One familiar Flo connects the people who love Florence, the community groups that bring it together, and the verified local businesses that make things happen.

How Florence works

Three rings. One welcoming Flo.

Start wherever you are. Florence keeps public discovery, community coordination, business services, and private account work in their proper places.

Ring one · People

Your Florence

Explore the guide, hear WFLO, follow weather and calendars, share reports, shop, and—when it is ready—make a personal Porch feel like you.

Ring two · Community bridge

Show up together

Clubs, churches, schools, veterans, nonprofits, leagues, and civic groups can share schedules, standings, events, and bounded requests without becoming a public social feed.

Ring three · Verified businesses

Find it. Ask for it. Make it.

Public business pages, real offers, shopping, useful tools, fulfillment, and receipts stay clear. More service never opens another business’s private information.

Florence core keeps the rules and records in the center. A person has one login; a personal Porch stays separate from any authorized business room or public storefront.

The same easy process everywhere

Just tell Flo what you need.

Public questions stay public. Private work moves to the correct signed-in account only when it needs to.

1 · Ask plainlyUse your own words. You do not need to know the system.
2 · See choicesFlo shows useful options or a preview before anything important changes.
3 · Use the right roomPersonal and business work stay in the correct account context.
4 · Keep the threadGet the result, the next step, and continuity when you return.

Your own place in Florence

My Porch.

Make yourself at home.

Florence is getting a few more porches. No lumber required.

We’re working on a little place online you can make your own. Put up your pictures. Tell your stories. Let your personality show. Give the neighbors a reason to stop by.

We’re calling it The Porch.

You don’t need to know how to build a website. Just tell Flo what feels like you.

Coming to Florence. Make yourself at home.

Your Porch is personal.

Visitors will be invited to “Come visit Angie’s porch” or another person’s Porch. A business page, shop, or private business room remains separate and appears only with that person’s authorization.

A separate local service

Hear Florence on WFLO.

WFLO is Florence County’s radio home for music, local voices, road reports and community conversation. The station has its own home so civic information here stays clear.

A WFLO listener requested “Something in the Orange” by Zach Bryan. Scheduled for on WFLO.
